Pretty Face – 6 Hour Marathon
January 29, 2008 at 3:12 am | In Manga, Pretty Face | Leave a CommentYes, but that’s counting breaks and food, it took me 6 hours to finish 6 volumes of the manga in 1 day. Do I like it? I liked it, but is it good? I have no idea, I haven’t read enough manga to judge it, but I say the ecchi jokes were decent even if they’re repetitive. However, I’m disappointed in the lack of plot developement. But I said there was some in volume 4? Well, it went back to general filler and only to wrap it up in the last 3 chapters of volume 6. And my guess was totally off, but maybe it was a possible answer? The author himself said he was thinking about different conclusions. The chosen conclusion is a happy one, but kind of anti-climatic does not really address some “mysteries”. Like the extra corpse and how Yuna was not enrolled in any beauty school in Sapporo. Well, he did show one ending, it’s common, and not really befitting of a comedy manga, but if it was mostly drama it would’ve probably be the best course of action.
